Event Description:

Etienne was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, and is a native of Opelika, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College and a Master of Fine Arts from Georgia State University Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design.

Jackson is an accomplished sculptor, woodworker, and metal fabricator. His work has been exhibited in Ohio, Chicago, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Georgia. He has also fabricated metal works for national and regional artists. His studio practice focuses on memory experience and mnemonic associations with objects, patterns, forms, and spaces that create and maintain connections to our past and establish new transformative futures.
