Cristela Alonzo, the first Latina to create, produce, and star in her own network sitcom for ABC, also made history as the first Latina lead in a Disney Pixar film. She now tours sold-out clubs and theaters nationwide, with her stand-up specials 'Lower Classy' and 'Middle Classy' streaming on Netflix. Alonzo hosts the 'Netflix Is A Joke' podcast and advocates for issues like immigration and universal healthcare, working with organizations such as Special Olympics Texas and Planned Parenthood. She's also authored a memoir, 'Music to My Years,' chronicling her journey as a first-generation Mexican-American pursuing comedy.
