The North Metro Atlanta Chapter of Georgia Native Plant Society in partnership with Keep Roswell Beautiful is hosting a workshop "How to Get Started with Native Plants" at East Roswell Park. This free program includes an educational presentation, resources and a free native plant to participants. Attendees will learn what native plants are, why they are crucial to the environment, and how to incorporate them into yards and gardens. In addition, the North Metro Atlanta Chapter will share their upcoming events and ways to get involved. Rain Barrels will also be available for purchase (all sales benefit Keep Roswell Beautiful's programs such as trash clean up, recycling efforts, and habitat restoration).
