In this presentation, "Ownership & Sale Records of Land & Buildings," we will discuss real estate property sales, which are public record, and searchable via most county courthouses. Dr. Marni Davis will explain the ins and outs of tracking Deed Records, and Erica Hague will share more about other resources held by the Atlanta History Center Kenan Research Center pertaining to the Atlanta Real Estate Board appraisals, Fulton County Tax Plats and Tax Plat Cards, and other related Atlanta History Center land records, that track the ownership and sale or transfer of property in the Atlanta area.
