Dance Faculty Concert: The evening will feature Aztec dance, FolkloĢrico, and contemporary dance inspired by various sigils from the Mexica (Me-shee-cah) or Aztec calendar stone. The concert follows Assistant Professor of Dance Julio Medina's journey of reclamation of Indigenous identity and reshaping his Mexican heritage. This evening of dances is a ritual of offerings to Mother Earth and reclaiming power in rebirth.
Post Concert: There will be a 15-minute Q&A for audience members who wish to stay.
