Katherine Jovanni Taylor is a smooth jazz singer from Atlanta, Georgia, with a diverse background in musical theatre, gospel, classical music, and jazz. Trained in theatre and church from a young age, Katherine's passion for jazz was always present, but it wasn't until a pivotal moment in 2020 that her solo career truly began to take shape. During a mission trip to Africa, she had the opportunity to headline Mozambique's annual Children's Day. This experience reignited her love for singing and set her on a new path.
Katherine recently performed at Atlanta Symphony Hall for WCLK's 50th Anniversary, marking a significant milestone in her career. Today, she dedicates her days to teaching children and her nights to songwriting, finding joy in telling stories through her charismatic, jazzy style. Katherine's mission is to connect with her audience, whether in a classroom or on stage. She aims to touch at least one person with every performance. If she achieves that, she considers her job well done.
