Roswell Cultural Arts presents Atlanta Dance Theatre's 'The Nutcracker'. This timeless classic has become a tradition in the North Atlanta area delighting audiences young and old, choreographed by Artistic Director, Shelley Grames.
So, journey back in time to a festive Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum's home under their fabulous Christmas tree. The party is grand especially for Clara who receives a beautiful Nutcracker from her Godfather Drosselmeyer. But when the clock strikes midnight strange things begin to happen. Clara and her Nutcracker Prince battle the Rat Queen, travel through the magical snow forest and enjoy the amazing, confectionary celebration with the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Land of Sweets. Is it magic or all just a dream?
This timeless tradition fills the stage with colorful costumes and beautiful sets. In the production, they'll be complimented by the high caliber, professional guest artists; Robert Chabot, Lonnie Davis, Jonah Hooper, Eric Nash, and Fox 5's Paul Milliken and Joanne Feldman!
