Sensory-Friendly Morning is a free, sensory-modified program for visitors of all ages who have sensory sensitivities and/or are neurodivergent and their families. The event takes place prior to regular museum hours. Visitors can participate in activities and special performances or explore the museum at their own pace. Visitors are welcome to stay in the museum after Sensory-Friendly Morning for our UPS Second Sunday program.
Please note that large crowds are expected beginning at 12 noon for UPS Second Sunday.
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Meet a Musician

Join the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians for a family-friendly 30-minute performance. During the performance, musicians will play a variety of classical pieces and classic children's songs and provide a brief overview of their instruments. Children and their families are encouraged to take part in the performance by clapping, singing, and dancing along. The performance is sensory-friendly, ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy the music without feeling overstimulated by loud noises.
